GeoTurn Terms of Use
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading or using GeoTurn (the "App"), you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the App. We may update these Terms at any time; continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
2. Eligibility
You must be able to use Apple Game Center and comply with Apple requirements. The App is not intended for children under 13.
3. Accounts and Identity
GeoTurn uses Apple Game Center for identity, matchmaking, and leaderboards. We do not create separate GeoTurn accounts. Your display name, avatar, and player ID are provided by Game Center.
4. License
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal entertainment. You may not copy, modify, distribute, reverse engineer, or attempt to access the App's source code or data in unauthorized ways.
5. Gameplay and Fair Play
GeoTurn is a turn-based geography game that exchanges match data through Apple Game Center. You agree not to cheat, automate gameplay, or interfere with matches. We may limit or block access if we detect abuse or if you report and block another player.
6. Pro Unlock and Purchases
The App offers a one-time, non-consumable "Pro Unlock" purchase through Apple StoreKit. All payments and refunds are handled by Apple. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID and can be restored using Apple's restore purchases flow.
7. Rewarded Ads
Free users may choose to watch rewarded ads to gain additional match opportunities. Rewarded ads are provided by Google AdMob and are optional.
8. Reporting and Blocking
The App allows you to report and block other Game Center players. Reporting sends an anonymized report (hashed player identifiers) to Apple CloudKit for moderation purposes. Blocking prevents future interactions with that player on your devices.
9. Third-Party Services
GeoTurn relies on Apple services (Game Center, iCloud Key-Value Store, CloudKit, StoreKit, MapKit/Look Around). Use of these services is subject to Apple's terms and privacy policies. The App also integrates Google AdMob for rewarded ads, subject to Google's terms and privacy policies.
10. Availability and Changes
The App may be updated, modified, or discontinued at any time. We may update these Terms; continued use of the App means you accept the updated Terms.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the App.
13. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to the App if you violate these Terms or engage in abusive behavior. You may stop using the App by uninstalling it.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany.
